All of the tension that she’d been holding was released as tears streamed down her cheeks.
Mr. Moore was correct. The problem has been resolved. You should also note that the story has come full circle. It started with a question about a phone call and ended with the phone call. That was not an accident. And it also ended with a “happily ever after”. Your writing should always end with a “happily ever after”. Otherwise, you’re simply morbid.
